THE LEADING LUXURY TRAVEL EXHIBITION
Royal Commission for AlUlaback
Royal Commission for AlUla is a National Tourism Board aimed at development and promotion of tourism to AlUla region of Saudi Arabia.
AlUla is a place of extraordinary human and natural heritage. We invite you to join us in a living museum of preserved tombs, sandstone outcrops, historic dwellings and monuments, both natural and human-made, that hold 200,000 years of largely unexplored human history.
To achieve our vision, RCU will be working closely with partners within and beyond Saudi Arabia. We are working with local and international experts in archaeology, heritage conservation and preservation, architecture and master planning to deliver an environmentally and historically-sensitive transformation of AlUla.
Working hand-in-hand with the local community, we will invest in education and learning for AlUla’s next generation and create training and employment opportunities for its people.
Our development plan will commission the infrastructure and visitor facilities that will underpin AlUla’s future success, while protecting its natural beauty and historic sites.
The AlUla valley, located 300km north of Medina, is a place of extraordinary human and natural heritage. The Wadi Al-Qura (the Valley of Villages), a lush oasis valley that runs through AlUla, sheltered by sandstone mountains, created a perfect environment for civilisations to flourish. The Dedanites, Lihyanites, Nabataeans and Romans all built their cities here.
